Combe Sunday in the future

There's no doubt about it that Combe Sunday is a good thing. It is brilliant for community spirit, is enjoyable to organise and provides a brilliant day out for family and friends. In order for the organisers to consider staging this event again in the future, we need a damn good reason because every bit of effort is provided purely voluntarily.

The total figure raised for charity in 2006 was £7500 shared between the Chernobyl Children's Life Line, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the Cotswold Trust.

Recently we had the rewarding pleasure in meeting some of the Belarusian children who's travel to the UK was funded from the 2006 Combe Sunday.

We have the capability to raise in excess of ten grand. Although this is a drop in the ocean for big national charities, it is life changing for the right cause. Please e-mail us with your suggestions (thegoodfolk@combesunday.co.uk)
